Happy #FITFRIDAY , guys! I’m so excited to share today’s Tabata Yoga Tone Workout video with you. I just love the combination of strengthening yoga poses with cardio. It’s literally the best of both worlds. And you don’t even have to leave your appartment (but taking your workout outside is always encouraged 😉).
What is Tabata?
Tabata is a form of HIIT-style workout where you perform one exercise for 20 seconds with 10 seconds resting periods on between. The exercise is repeated 4 times before moving onto the next one. Some Tabata workouts even call for 8 rounds. But you know I always like to change things up to keep it fun for you guys (working out should never feel like a chore after all), so I decided to stick to 4.
I love how much stronger and more flexible my body feels after doing yoga but I also love the feeling of getting my heart rate up. This workout combines the best of both worlds! And the best part? You don’t need any equipment and you can do it right from the comfort of your home! Doesn’t get much better than this 🙂
